Playtime with Eimmie LIVE

In the first episode of Playtime with Eimmie LIVE, our new recurring Facebook Live series, Chelsie and Autumn showed doll-lovers and fans how to make adorable no-sew face masks.

how to make no sew face masks for 18 inch dolls

Since children identify themselves with their 18-inch dolls, we thought that by making their dolls a part of today’s world, we could help your child manage the emotions, stress, and anxiety that comes with wearing a mask.

The best part about homemade no-sew face masks is that you can use items that you most likely already have around the house. From old t-shirts that you found during spring cleaning to handkerchiefs that need a new use, the opportunities seem endless.

Here's what you need:

• Enough fabric to cut out two squares: 1 that measures 6" x 6" and 1 that measures 12" x 12".**
• Scissors
• A ruler
• 4 rubber bands or hair ties

The 6 "x 6" fabric will be for your 18-inch doll's face mask and the 12" x 12" one will be for kids. You may need to adjust the sizing a bit depending on the size of the child wearing the mask.
